Base Application
The Base Application is the heart of the BC360 platform. It contains a Business 360 role center that covers all user with the same menu and many small fixes and tools that make every day better. All our apps build upon the Base Application.

- •Business 360 Role CenterThe Business 360 Role Center is the main menu for all users. It covers all department functions in a business so all work with the same menu. All standard role center elements are included in the Business 360 Role center and our apps extend this. We also include the Continia products in the Business 360 role center with free apps.
- •Document Layout TemplatesA number of document layout templates - translation - lot and serial nos specification - tariff specification - dynamic texts
- •Environment controlEnvironment control handles enterprise scenarios when we integrate. It secures that environments like production, test and development are not crossed e.g. sending EDI documents from a test environment to a customer without knowing.
- •Send Invt. PicksSending invt. pick with e-mail. Also used to send EDI documents if EDI is installed.
- •Send Purchase OrderEnables sending a purchase order mail to a vendor. The feature is extended using EDI to handle either sending an EDI order to the vendor or an e-mail.

Description
The Base Application is the foundation of the BC360 platform. It is the first thing we install and the app every other BC360 app builds upon.
At the heart of it is the Business 360 Role Center — a complete reimagining of the Business Central menu and navigation. Where standard Business Central role centers are narrow and fragmented, the Business 360 Role Center supports all user roles across the whole business in one coherent interface.
Beyond navigation, BC360 Core includes a wide range of UX improvements that make Business Central significantly easier to use day to day — better filtering, smarter lookups and cleaner workflows that reduce the friction of working with standard Business Central. Even some errors from Microsoft are fixed and functionality made less errorprone.
The Base Application also includes and Environment feature that secure an enterprise setup where cross environment integration is secured.
The Consultant Toolbox gives our consultants and developers a set of tools that speed up implementation, configuration and maintenance — making our work faster and more consistent across customers.
Document layouts are another core feature. The Base Application includes a framework for professional document designs — invoices, order confirmations, delivery notes and more — with support for dynamic text on both documents and emails, and full translation into any language.
The Base Application addresses the small gaps and rough edges that Microsoft has left in the standard application for many years — the kind of things that slow people down every day but are easy to overlook until they are fixed. And rather than making these small changes for all customers one by one we decided to make the Base Application.
