Description

When Business Central sends an email, it normally goes straight out without giving you a chance to make last-minute changes. Edit in Outlook changes this by opening the email in Outlook before it is sent, putting you back in control of what goes out.

Once the email is open in Outlook you can edit the content, attach additional documents, or apply a different signature than the one configured in Business Central. It is particularly useful if you use Outlook as the centre of your customer communication or have a CRM setup built around Outlook — the email becomes part of your normal Outlook workflow rather than disappearing into Business Central's send queue.

Small but valuable for anyone who needs just a little more flexibility in how their Business Central emails reach customers and partners.
