Description

The Import app makes it easy to bring data from text and Excel files into Business Central — without developer involvement. Users define their own import templates, which are straightforward to set up and can be reused as many times as needed. Whether you are importing the same file format every week or handling occasional data loads, the template handles the mapping so you don't have to start from scratch each time.

Imports can target journals, document lines or any other table in Business Central. Column-to-line imports are also supported, giving flexibility for file formats where data is structured horizontally rather than in rows.

Edit in Outlook
