Description

Standard Business Central drop shipment functionality works, but it is manual, rigid and requires several steps that slow down the process. The Drop Shipment app enhances this with a more flexible and automated approach that reduces the effort and removes the friction from drop shipment workflows.

Purchase orders for drop shipments can be created directly from the sales order, keeping the link between the two documents clear and the process moving quickly. Receipt and invoicing can be handled simultaneously rather than as separate steps, cutting down the number of transactions needed to complete a drop shipment and making the process significantly faster for your purchasing and finance teams.

The result is a drop shipment process that works the way your business needs it to — automated where it can be, flexible where it needs to be, and always keeping the sales order and purchase order properly connected.
